Overview
Description
Lesnewth Habitat Bank is a fully registered habitat bank providing locally available BNG units for developments across Cornwall. Located within the River Valency landscape, the site has been designed to restore species-rich grassland, scrub, trees and traditional Cornish hedgerows while strengthening the ecological network surrounding one of England's remaining temperate Celtic rainforests. This landscape-led approach delivers lasting ecological value while creating a substantial supply of locally available BNG units. With 130 units available, Lesnewth provides developers with a straightforward route to securing BNG requirements, backed by long-term ecological management and stewardship. Why developers choose Biofarm: We make BNG straightforward. We deliver at scale. We stay for the long-term. We deliver end-to-end Biodiversity Net Gain, from land sourcing and habitat creation to unit delivery, long-term ecological management, and ongoing advisory to guide you through BNG requirements in the planning process.
